Get Ready For Basketball

Looking for a way to keep your child’s basketball skills sharp and have them prepared for the upcoming basketball season? Look no farther than East Coast Basketball Mini-Camps!

Mini-camp sessions will be held every Saturday starting September 10th and running until the end of October.  

These camps are a great way to practice and develop some basketball skills during the off-season.  During each session, participants will work on team buildingsportsmanshipgood character, agility and plyometrics . These are just a few of the skills your child will develop when attending the East Coast Basketball Mini-Camps.  

Participants that attend 3 out of the 6 sessions will be eligible to play in the All-Star game the last weekend of October.

East Coast Basketball

Our Mission 

East Coast Basketball is proud to present the young men and women of our community the opportunity to attend basketball camp. This program offers boys and girls a chance to learn more about the game of basketball, improve both individual and team skills, promotes good sportsmanship and builds character. In addition, it will allow participants to experience success in their chosen area of interest, no matter their skill level. 
 

Coach Robert Lloyd

Robert Lloyd enters his seventh season with the King's Christian Academy program in 2010-11 and six years in his current capacity as an Athletic Director.

Coach Lloyd was promoted to this current slot in the fall of 2004. In this assignment he is responsible for on-court teaching, scouting, recruiting and helps monitor the academic progress of the student-athletes in the basketball program.

In his six years in the Athletic Director position, Coach Lloyd handled an assortment of duties vital to the function of the Athletic office. In that period he was primarily focused on academics and scheduling. He also served as the basketball office's link to the athletic department on day-to-day matters, including working closely with the facilities staff on the design of the school's basketball training and student fitness facility. In addition, he coordinated all team travel and the KCA Basketball Camps.

Over the course of his seventh seasons at KCA, the Eagles owned a 75-28 record.

Robert currently resides in California, MD and has a daughter, Delisia, graduating in 2011. Robert is very proud of the young lady she has become.

Founder and operator of Speed Xplosion. I ran NCAA Division I Track and Field at Western Michigan University. I competed in the Long and Triple Jump, 100 thru 400 meter dashes and 4x100 and 4x400 meter relays. I started Speed Xplosion in 2006 to share my knowledge of running with other athletes. We can all agree if you get quicker, faster and more agile you will become better at your sport and any other sport you would like to play. Your goal is my goal at Speed Xplosion.
